Capstone – Project

Prototyping for HNW Financial Planning Digital Experience

A Collaboration Between

Engagement Synopsis

We are looking for ideas and inspiration to help us advance our thinking in terms of how to deliver a digital (mobile-first) financial planning solution for our High Net Worth clients. Particularly, we are determining how to create early funnel engagement to drive traffic into financial planning, and to manage initial discovery and information gathering as an input to plan formation. We expect to leverage industry-specific software from MoneyGuidePro for the main planning experience, but are looking for ways to supplement and optimize that experience. Options for deployment could include building front-end visual and interaction components on top of MoneyGuidePro APIs and/or building discrete modules with functionality independent from MGP. We would look to deploy this first in our native mobile apps (iOS and Android) and then in responsive web. Ideally we would build this with our Figma-based design system, but can create prototypes in other formats that we can subsequently port over, depending on students’ skillsets and tool availability.
