“eco-system” BAS iOS/Android Mobile Application Development and Launch

A Collaboration Between

Engagement Synopsis

Eco-Enterprise, Inc. offers a suite of solutions that drive sustainability for companies, nonprofits and governments while saving them money. Eco-System, Inc. is our technology company; we have built a cutting-edge, cloud-based SAAS that utilizes IoT-based hardware/sensors: “eco-system BAS” is a revolutionary Smart City and Building Automation System. We have been blessed with the opportunity to work with 29 AMAZING student-interns, alongside Jordan at CapSource, via NJIT-Capstone and also with Stanford university since our inception (2019). We are very proud to mention that our intern “teams” (usually 4-5 students per team, 2 teams per semester) have placed 1st and 3rd in terms of their midterm and final presentations — out of 40+ corporate sponsors per semester (e.g.: Verizon, Forbes, Pfizer and more)! My partners and I utilize Discord, JIRA, Gantt charts and weekly sprints (via Zoom), to help our interns report progress, receive vital answers to their important questions, and meet project deadlines. Thus far, we have built Eco-Enterprise.com, as well as, the “New Client Application” and “New Consultant Application” forms. More impressively, we created “eco-system” (all hardware and software) in collaboration with our hard-working interns. This last semester (Fall 2020), we started the initial development of “eco-system” iOS/Android Mobile Applications with the students. We will be converting eco-system’s backend platform from Angular to React; students began work on the iOS/Android applications using React Native to setup base formatting of “System Alerts” along with push notifications. In this Spring 2021 Computer Science Micro-Internship with SUNY-Potsdam, we would like to continue to build eco-system’s iOS/Android mobile development where students will have the opportunity to work in React/React Native to meet the remaining app goals/objectives AND help our developers launch the iOS on Apple AppStore via our Apple Developer Account. Lastly, we take our internships very seriously as a way to GIVE BACK to students and brilliant, driven future technologists!–Thus, we offer “Virtual/In-Person Field Trips” to our manufactures of PoE LED Lighting System, Eco-System, as well as, lectures from top leaders of Fortune 100 businesses, proven entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and leadership coaches. In short, we offer the internship that WE would want to work for if we were students! Thank you for this opportunity. We look forward to working with you and your technologists!
